Energy Saving
The use of heat pumps for the heating and air-conditioning systems, thus with no emissions of polluting agents, is not the only strategy adopted by the Hotel to reduce the energy consumption and, consequently, environment pollution.
The Hotel is equipped with a computer-based plant monitoring the heating and cooling parameters in every area, together with the power consumption.
Rooms are managed by magnetic cards for energy optimization and there are magnetic sensors blocking the heating/cooling system when the window is opened.
Water consumption in the rooms is strongly limited thanks to filters which reduce the flow but guarantee comfort to clients at the same time.
The use of paper for any purpose, from marketing to stationery for meetings and for rooms is “FSC certified”, i.e. coming from forests that are genetically monitored and duly replanted.
In the kitchen, the induction-based electric rings allow fast cooking without any thermal dispersion and the ovens have ventilated conveyors.
This mansion was built with solutions conceived to guarantee high levels of soundproofing and thermal insulation and the wall division of the façade has been carefully carried out so as to maximize the reduction of dispersion as well as soundproofing.
